When Server Monitor is started for the first time, use the discovery wizard to find devices on your network to monitor

The Server Monitor service needs to run as an account that has rights to manager other servers, typically you will choose an account with administration privledges

There are three ways to discover devices, we'll use the Network Neighborhood

Select the devices you want to create monitors for

Select the type of monitors you want the wizard to test each device for

Select the action to perform when a monitor exceeds a threshold

The wizard is finished testing the devices

A list of devices and the available monitors is displayed, select the devices that you want to create monitors for

The new monitors are displayed in the console window
